Sant'Arcangelo's Special Art
What Is It?
When you look around our restaurant, you'll see special prints on the walls and on our lights.
These come from Stamperia Marchi in Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna, a little town in Rimini province, Emilia Romagna, Italy.
They've been making these prints for a very long time.
A Bit of History:
The Marchi family started making these prints a long time ago, in the 1600s. They use wooden blocks to press designs onto cloth. Even today, they make these prints the same old way.
The Designs
The prints you see have designs of plants, stories, and things we see every day. Because they make them by hand, every print is special.
SantโArcangelo di Romagna
Sant'Arcangelo in Romagna is a charming town in Italy, known for its rich history and beautiful views.
It's a place where old meets new. The town has narrow streets, old buildings, and lovely squares where people gather. But it's not just about the past.
Today, Sant'Arcangelo is also full of life, with shops, cafes, and events.
One of the town's special things is the art of hand-printing on fabrics, which has been kept alive for centuries. When you visit, you can feel the love for tradition and also see the energy of today.
Why Here in Our Restaurant?
We decorated our restaurant with these prints to share a piece of Italian art with you. As you eat, enjoy the art around you. It tells a story of old times and the love for making beautiful things.
Stamperia Marchi is not just about making prints. It's about keeping old traditions alive. We hope you enjoy our food and the stories our walls tell.
