About Take Care Kids (TCK)
Take Care Kids is a beacon of hope located in Pattaya. The organisation passionately extends its arms to embrace children and, in some cases, single mothers who have endured unimaginable hardships.
From victims of severe abuse, torture, and human trafficking to those in desperate conditions, TCK is committed to rebuilding lives and providing safety, love, and opportunities.
What Take Care Kids does
Foster Home
TCK offers a safe haven for children and single mothers, referred by local authorities, police, or other foundations. Here, children are empowered to be children again.
They are provided with school education, opportunities to play, and the warmth of a family-like environment. Single mothers, too, are supported until they regain their physical and psychological strength.
Support Outside the Foster Home
TCK continues to assist mothers and their children even after they leave the home. Many of these mothers, some as young as 16, have been abandoned and live in poverty.
Vulnerable to joining crime or the sex trade, TCK's intervention helps enroll their children in public schools and aids mothers in finding employment.
Aid in Slums and Construction Sites
TCK staff regularly visits slums and construction site camps, aiding single mothers and their very young children with essential items like food and clothing.
In emergencies, such as cases of abuse or illness, TCK is always ready to help and report to relevant authorities.
Home Forever Initiative
Every child and mother deserves a stable place to call home. Recognising this need, after over a decade of renting, Take Care Kids is embarking on an ambitious project: the construction of a new Family Home.
This two-story building, spanning 600 square meters, will be located on a 1,600 square meter plot in Huay Yai, Pattaya, recently acquired by the foundation.
This new residence will double its capacity, accommodating up to 40 guests. Meticulously designed in accordance with the Ministry for Social Policies, the construction costs amount to approximately 240 thousand euros (10M THB).
